Our staff of caregiver/companions provide the highest quality of services. Potential employees go through a rigorous screening process with background and DMV checks. We also require proof of automobile insurance, up-to-date TB tests and we check each applicant’s personal and professional references.
Placing security and safety as a priority, our caregivers are bonded; they are also covered by worker’s compensation and liability insurances. Caregivers are oriented and monitored by an RN case manager who provides and implements the plan of care. Our selection process assures our clients peace of mind and the security of knowing they have a professional team working for them.
Our household services are designed to address convenience and safety issues in a person's home. This provides consistency in care for older people who do not tolerate change well. Services include:
- Finding space for a live-in caregiver
- Home safety planning and modification, including bathroom safety equipment and emergency response systems
- Meal preparation and diet management
- Household organization and light housekeeping
- Getting home maintenance tasks completed, such as painting, A/C and heating, repairs
- Errands
- Accompaniment to appointments
- Home safety assessments and recommendations to improve the home environment
- Identifying technology and systems to assist people with the safest management of their individual disease conditions
We pay particular attention to detail in every interaction with our clients. Here are a couple of our distinctive services:
- Caregiver coordinator or case manager personally introduces and orients every caregiver to each client to ensure that the caregiver understands the needs and preferences of the client
- A customized care plan for each client that meets their level of service and medication management
- Care that is mobile for travel and transitions. Accompanying clients on trips around their neighborhood, to restaurants, movies, shopping, and places of worship
